Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “color” as:

Color: noun ˈkə-lər
a: phenomenon of light (such as red, brown, pink, or gray) or visual perception that enables one to differentiate otherwise identical objects.

b: the aspect of the appearance of objects and light sources that may be described in terms of hue, lightness, and saturation for objects and hue, brightness, and saturation for light sources.

c: a color other than and as contrasted with black, white, or gray

Well, that’s dull but happily autumn in the mountains is anything but. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nature always wears the colors of the spirit.” My spirit is inspired and soothed by nature, so colors—be it a bright fall day or gray snowy one—are full and vibrant for me. I prefer to define color as my soulshine. I hope it is for you, too, and please enjoy these “aspects of the appearance of objects and light sources” from some of our latest outings.
