I Survived Another NaNoWriMo

November was National Novel Writing Month. What a ride-50,000 words in thirty days. This was my fifth year and, as always, was challenging, frustrating, and FUN!

So, in case you were wondering where I’ve been, now you know. Tied to my laptop computer that is not connected to the internet!

My final word count this year: 51,728. Which put me about halfway through the novel. More work to do and at a slower pace, but not too much slower!

In 2013, my NaNoWriMo project was the first half of the very rough first draft of Courageous Cain. What an amazing experience to see it published nearly two years later, on September 7, 2105 by Champagne Books.

I plan on doing NaNoWriMo again next year and I hope you’ll join the fun. It’s a trip!
