We’ve had a wet summer here in the high country and that means wildflowers. We’ve been out enjoying them and now it’s time to take a moment to share them with you. Enjoy!
It’s enough to make us jump for joy.
It’s almost overwhelming for a rescue dog from a shelter in a big city to find himself in a Rocky Mountain meadow. So much to see and hear and sniff. Ty is loving it.
Of course the butterflies appreciate them.
Mountains and flowers? That’s a hard to beat combination.
Rocky Mountain Bluebells
Columbines, the Colorado state flower. Blue for the sky, white for the snow, and gold for our mining history.
